If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911, or your local emergency number first. Do not wait for us.

Frequently asked questions

How do I report someone?

Open their profile, or press and hold a message, and tap Report. Choose the reason that fits best. Reporting also blocks them immediately, so they cannot contact you. The other person is not told who reported them.

What happens after I report?

A person on our team reviews it. Depending on what we find, we may warn the member, suspend them, or remove them. For privacy we cannot share the details, but we will let you know once your report has been reviewed. If there is more we should know, you can report again.

How do I block someone?

Open their profile and tap Block. They disappear from your discovery and cannot message you.

Someone shared an intimate image of me without my consent

You can ask us to remove it, whether or not you have a Connected account, at Take It Down Requests. We remove valid requests, and identical copies we know of, as soon as possible in accordance with the TAKE IT DOWN Act, and we email you the outcome.

I think I was scammed, or someone is asking me for money

Do not send money, gift cards or cryptocurrency to someone you have not met. Report the member in the app. If you lost money, report it at reportfraud.ftc.gov and tell your bank and your local police.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to your profile and tap Delete my account. Your profile, matches, messages and photos are removed from Connected at once. We keep a private copy that no member can see for a limited time, as our Privacy Policy explains.

I think my account or a decision about me was a mistake. Can I appeal?

Yes. Email support@coloursglobal.com within six months, say what happened and why you think it was wrong, and give as much detail as you can. A person will review it. You can also ask a person to review your trust score or any decision about your account.

How do I ask about my personal data?

Email privacy@coloursglobal.com. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and the choices you have.

Less common questions

I saw child sexual abuse material, or someone is exploiting a child

Report the member in the app, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org. Do not share, forward or save the material. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911.

I am a law enforcement officer with a request

Email lawenforcement@coloursglobal.com from your official address, and include your agency, the case reference, what you need and the legal basis. In an emergency involving danger to life, say so at the start.

Email copyright@coloursglobal.com. Our Terms explain what to include.
